| Don't you have a spare mini lying about somewhere? Just test on that one, and just check?
Or ... are you worrying about your health instead? Got no answer for that one.

| I've found you're usually okay with sprays - nothing gets in or out of the can (hopefully) in that time. My old sprays needed a really long shake after about 4 years of no use but seemed to work just fine.
I think one of them had slowly leaked propellant over that time, because it ran out but still felt like there was some paint down in the bottom.
And I recommend testing spray paints of any kind on some spare sprue - I've found if the mixture is a little off, it will sometimes melt plastic and I can't bear to part with even my oldest unpainted miniatures.

| Thanks, Mordheimer - I had the idea for those during the campaign and liked them so much I decided to keep them around. I almost printed some up as bumper stickers but the wife put the brakes on that - apparently advertising my nerdiness hurts our social life... | |

| I pulled out a can of GW white basecoat spray after 11 years and used it. It worked great, no problems at all. I did test it first to be certain though. | |
