| Long ago there was a story in a Tarzan comic about a river tribe that used crocodile shaped dugouts to dominate the rival tribes. I've been looking for that comic to figure out a design for my Savage Orc's galleys. No need to look anymore. Thanks! | |

| Nice! Looks like a great game. I love that there was actually a faction of mysterious little green guys, and of course Cthulhu! That is a great piece ("miniature" seems inappropriate in this case). | |

| Looks great... i was wondering about creating a pirate warband.... and was thinking about what to use as ships... As it is a side project... i don't really want to spent 100 euro's for a ship... and looked for cheap alternatives... What do you guys think of these 2 options (Undead pirate warband ship & Caribean Pirates): UndeadCaribbean Pirate Ship | |

| Hi bro... 1/72 is usually way to small to look good with 28mm models... i saw the ghost ship in reall live once and judged it to tiny... just my 2cents

What do you guys think of these 2 options (Undead pirate warband ship & Caribean Pirates): Undead Caribbean Pirate Ship I agree with Mo! These are too small for 28mm games. There's a current thread about ships in the Scenery section of the forum, 2 actually. cianty also has a generous collection of resource links on his blog. The bottom line being go e-bay or build your own. For a quick fix I suggest the Playmobil Pirate Dingy. Better size, convert-able or playable right out of the box and cheap. The Weapons and Warriors ships pictured above are handy but I always convert them as they are quite small. Also they are an e-bay only item since the game has been off the shelves for years. We've been playing with our smallest Warhammer ship for the last 2 years (3-4 inch wide, 8 to 10 inch long). Crowded but I like that look. Once a warband gets about 16 warriors it gets too crowded.

| A-ha, I can be helpful!
That Cthulhu miniature is by Wizkids, from their Horrorclix game. Unfortunately the game was discontinued a few years back, but you can probably still get Cthulhu online somewhere, and unlike many pre-painted plastic minis he really does look excellent.
