| What do you think about this scenario? http://www.specialist-games.com/mordheim/articles.aspSomewhere in the middle of all the articles, it's called "the rescue". I think the scenario should be less hard for the defender, as it is an extra-chance for the attacker to get his lost hero back without paying anything. In my opinion, it should be possible, but difficult for the attacker to get the hero out, to represent the desperation of the mission. | |

| LOL! "Somewhere between all the articles" Ok, I took the time to look at the scenario "The Rescue" you were talking about. I agree with you, the chances of rescuing the lost hero should be slim. However, it might also fit a campaign if the chances are more well balanced, for example if you are playing a narrative campaign where you welcome unexpected twists and turns in the storyline. All in all I think the idea is really good and we should play that scenario one day. Tortiou and I have written a little scenario called "Assassination" a long time ago, where we also used sentries. It had a special rule however, and that was that the attacker starts the game without models on the table. Instead he would use numbered "blips", i.e. plain warhammer bases with numbers on them. BEFORE the game, the attacker has to write down on a concealed piece of paper whick number is which warrior. The blips are replaced by the appropriate models once the alarm is sounded. It was a nice scenario that aimed more at storytelling than at being really "fair". There is plenty of room for improvement however... maybe if you guys PM Toriou long enough, he might post it for you to read/play/customise Try it, I think he will be thrilled. | |

| Merde! J'ai pas le document sur mon Targa ("Targa" étant devenu synonyme d'"ordinateur portable" pour moi, je te prie de m'excuser pour l'emploi de ce terme qui - je le sais - te tient beaucoup à coeur).
I know I have the doc on my desktop computer at home though... I'll try to have it emailed to me and then I'll forward it to you. | |

| Hahaha
toi aussi t'es devenu un vrai TargaMan maintenant !!
Yeah maybe I have it as well on the family computer in Vienna... but my parents are not at home right now so it all depends on you! This is your most important mission, soldier. Get those ultra-secret plans out of the military facility, destroy the toxic containers, kill the evil Doktor Van Der Böse, save the world and come back alive.

| Wow, two days absent and then that I've thougt about some changes in the rules, but I can't remind them all. Well, these are only suggestions, so feel free to criticise First, this shouldn't be handle as a full scenario, I thougt it may be a scenario linked to the one before, so the following things could be changed/added: -The Rescue can only be played directly after the scenario before(so no other battle in between) -Because of this, warriors(Henchmen and Heros) who were taken OOA during the last game but survived miss this game on a roll of 3 or less. This represents that they have to recover from their wounds. Heros who must miss the next game because of a roll on the injury-chart must miss this game as well. -The warband gain -1 wyrdstone shard, because of the rush of the recsue. Let me hear what you think. | |

| Hey Erk! I LOVE that sentence: "directly after the scenario before(so no other battle in between)" No, seriously, I like your ideas. I agree with the fact that this scenario can be coupled with another. But I also think that it depends on what you are actually playing. I can perfectly imagine the "Rescue" as a stand alone scenario aswell. The good thing about this scenario is that it is versatile and that you can very easily integrate it into campaigns. And THAT is when the house rules you imagined come into play... | |

| I wanted to make clear that you don't have to play it directly after the scenario in real time, but in the campaign. Hope anyone understands this The suggestions are meant for a scenario which is played with the idea to save a hero who was captured because of a roll on the injury chart, but of course it could be played without these as a scenario in a narrative campaign, for example. | |
