Otto's Marienburg and Reiklanders

I've had these done for a while but with no camera to shoot pics of them with.
Here are the Marienburgers.
First a Youngblood


The blue highlights looked better in person by the way. Anyways I converted this guy by taking a thrusting sword arm from the old plastic soldiers of the empire box and replaced the sword with a pistol from the Pistoliers box. I also got his sword arm from the new archer set. The torso and legs are from various empire sets.

Here's a guy with his hammer. He's not a happy guy.


and a guy with a halberd.


I still have other guys to paint for this warband. I'll get to them someday.

REIKLANDERS!


Here's my Captain. A former knight, he is now a brigand robbing the stagecoaches of the aristocrats he was once a member of.


The Champion with a two handed sword.

Here's a Marksman. An old guy, he still manages to hit his targets spot on. Even with only one eye!

Nice looking mercenaries, I like the captain and his backstory in particular. He very much looks the part of a weary former knight, still clinging to the remnants of his prior equipment.

A FINE LOOKING Band of Rogues! They are TOO nicely done NOT to have a bit of scenicing on the bases...that's the ONLY critique I could possibly offer on what, otherwise, is a VERY WELL DONE War Band!

great job!, i really like the marienburger youngblood, and the reiklander champion!!.
All of them are very well pinted and look nice.
What of them do you prefer to play, Reiklanders or Marienburgers?

haha I'll get some scenery put on their bases soon! I haven't decided how to go about it though.

Honestly, I haven't played a single game of Mordheim yet. I've read the rules and liked them so these guys are the first of the warbands that will fight. I like the way Marienburgers dress and show off wealth but I do also like making my Reiklanders seem like poor brigands that haven't accumulated much wealth just yet.

Great job! Besides what Deaf said. Spruce up those bases, also try to put some eyes on these guys....makes me wonder if they have some super psy power going on. Though I do understand the PAIN of doing eyes, they are always hit or miss.
