About pistols:
Does they have long and short range? It's because of -1 at long range. The book and the FAQ didn't talk about it... it's not specified. We used it in the past as Warhammer Fantasy, but not nowadays because we didn't found nothing talking about this.

They follow standard shooting rules I'm afraid. So beyond 3" have a -1 to hit. Basically, save them for hand to hand unless you are desperate to shoot someone.

Desperate or high Ballistic Skill or just a volume of dice rolls. Unloading a bunch of pistols at a line of warriors will still score hits and wounds if you shoot often enough...
