Hello everyone.

I'm starting up a Carnival warband and was reading over the abilities, and had a question about Nurgle's rot.

It says there is no known cure for Nugle's rot which leads me to believe that once a warrior has it he can't get rid of it, it slowly rots his flesh until he joins Papa Nurgle. Yet it also says that if the warrior passes the toughness test he staves off the infection, which could indicate he fought it off and is no longer infected.

Just curios of your thoughts,

Thanks

Kinda like Herpes, it is with you for life some days are better than others. Passing your test just means that day it did not flare up. Embarassed

That interpretation is what leads many to say that Nurgle's Rot makes playing against CoC extremely tedious. To the extent that many groups ban the ability/spell.

Yeah, I can see how it's a guaranteed kill, even if you don't kill them outright they've got to disband the guy or he'll end up taking down more with him.

I don't plan on playing with the spell/ability, except for the Plague Cart which comes with it (but i'm sure people won't mind if I forgo that aspect of it.)
