| Does anyone have rules for an undead warband different than the official one? My girlfriend was looking for an undead warband, but she's not satisfied with the official one. She likes the Vampire, zombies, and wolves... but would like something that had skeletons, and maybe some banshees and/or wraiths.
Anyone know of an unofficial warband that might fit her better?

| The Mordheimer.com might have some. Also, there was Brahm's Sylvannia setting website too - but I can't seem to locate the web address for that one. I'll keep looking and let you know - I'm sure someone else here has it.
Also, I think one of the old Ltters of the Damned articles was an Undead warband (you can find them under the resource section I believe). Oh, and didn't cianty have one from BTB? That'd be there too.

| Thanks guys. I looked at Mordheimer and all I saw was the Undead and the Tomb Kings. The Tomb Kings were focused too much on mummies, and there were no zombies or anything.
PitFighterTrainer: That Undead Additions link is pretty cool. We'll have to look at those rules and see how they work. Anyone tried them yet? The addition of mummies and skeletons would make her pretty happy, I think.
Ethlorien: Let me know if you find the Brahm's Sylvannia one. Do you remember any more about the Letters of the Damned Undead Warband? I thought Mordheimer had all the stuff from the Letters of the Damned and I didn't see any other Undead Warbands on there. I haven't look at BTB at all yet, so I'll check that too.

| Yeah, I just found one in LOD1. It's not bad. I'll have to offer her up some of these and see if any interest her. Thanks a ton guys! If you find any more, post em here. | |

| I hope you've seen the Border Town Burning undead warband: The Restless Dead. They're an amazing warband with a lot of character. They even get a Bone Goliath monstrosity. They have skeletons and wights as well.
Also, in the Sartosa setting, Styro has created a very interesting undead ghosts warband.

| Someone mentioned the three vampire (undead) warbands found in the "Ultimate Mordheim Rulebook" over at the Resource section?
(Von Carstein, Lahmian and Blood Dragon Knights)

| first off, BEHOLD! THREAD NECROMANCY! RISE, MY MINION!
now that that's out of the way, consider this:
Play the original undead warband, but just "Counts-as" the models you don't like. Don't like the ghouls or the dire wolves, and want weights and wraiths instead? Just use the ghoul rules and put a weight miniature - same for the wraith / dire wolf. At the end of the day, the game remains balanced if the numbers stay the same, regardless of what models you put down to represent your forces.
I was honestly considering doing this very thing with either a nurgle-themed Cult of the Possessed or Carnival of Chaos warband. I don't like the fluff on either of them, and was going to model them as blatantly Nurgle monstrosities, instead of the goofy carnival players they're supposed to be. If my plague bearers aren't wearing jesters' outfits, does it really matter? Likewise, if your zombies are represented by skeletons, but follow the same rules, is anything broken?
