I love halberds! I can't imagine my carnival master or vampire without this weapon. It's also good weapon for youngbloods, they can get experience quickly
Why? +1 S without "strikes last", which is the worst rule of every 2 handed weapon. And if you like kebab, you can always make some kebab from your opponent's models (skaven kebab - sounds good ) if you are so lucky to strike critically
And... halberds look simply cool

I'm agree with you Skavenblight, I use it the same way, but we know that it's not the best weapon for 10 Gc...
