Can heroes only choose from two skill lists?

My friend says that heroes can only choose from two skill lists to get skills but I can't find it anywhere in the rules. Is he right? If he is what page is this rule on?

No, each hero has their skill list. he MIGHT be referring to the fact of the Lad's Got Talent skill roll. With it, your NEW HERO that was previously a Henchman can now CHOOSE TWO SKILL LISTS from existing Heroes on the warband to learn from in the future. Otherwise, follow your warband rules for each Hero and their Skill Lists available to them.

Yes the skills available to heroes are usually listed on a table in the warband's rules usually the table is called [Warband's Type, i.e. Undead or Skaven] skill tables.

Out of curiosity which rulebook are you using the Living online on or the old printed edition. The Lads Got Talent rule is in the Experience section. Your friend is just generalizing a specific rule inaccurately.

Ah thanks. I thought it was odd that the rule wasn't mentioned in the rules for gaining skills. I'll be givining that friend of mine a bitch slap or two.
