I looked and I looked, but could not find this anywhere.

Can friendly models move through each other?

My group plays that unengaged friendly models ignore each other for movement purposes. However, the bases occupied by models in combat (friendly or not) count as impassable terrain.

That being said, I could not find the written rules which would justify such play. Perhaps someone else will be able to dig up the applicable rules.

I'd say they can. I remember reading somewhere that they are assumed to step out of each others way, but I can't recall whether the source was official/reliable or a house ruling.

In my group, we play as they can't. It depends on what happens : if it's the movement phase, one model moves just before another and block the pass on a small street, it's okay for the second model to move through him.
For any other cases, they can't, but that's the way we play, not an official rule Smile

We play that no model can move over/through any other model's base. We instigated this rule after a (self-titled) beardy play lined his warband up with a combat-monster (captain wih loads of advances) at the front with lots blunderbuss wielders behind him. And they were all in a narrow alley (one base wide) so his opponent though that he wouldn't fire 'cos of the Captain. Guess what: the captin ran through all blunderbuss wielders who then all fired. So three of the Beardy-player's marksmen got hit (some multiple times) but the entire opposing warband was hit FOUR times each!
