Stumbled across these figures and was wondering.

I wandered upon these figures for a game called Alkemy and was wondering if anyone has seen them in real life? They look pretty detailed from the pictures, but that doesn't always mean that much.

They look like they could have a lot of potential for alternative figures for Mordheim and some of them look like they would be great for the BtB stuff.

Yes, I have seen these minis live (and I am talking of the amazing studio painted ones). They are really great sculpts, no doubt.

I like the 'frog men' they would make some seriously cool chaos characters.
And I love the cat beastmen - could use them in Arabia (it would need an unofficial warband....but whatever). I would also see them as BtB monks (@cianty don't kill me) - the leader with a bow and the way the miniatures look, just fits there....

Wow. I've never heard of them, but I agree with you: the pictures look amazing. Not only are they great for BTB (depending on the scale), but

a) they have a lot of personality, which is rare, and

b) they have Cat-People which I actually LIKE, which is rarer still. While they would work in Araby, it makes me want to revive the Ind Campaign that Master I started (and then abandonned, for total lack of research material and outside interest). If I were to play them, I'd use Beastmen rules... maybe switch the Spell list with something else (with opponent's permission), like the Arabyan Tomb Raider's spells.

The cat beastmen would make for great Cathayan/Ind based Beastmen Raiders. I'll give you that. As for them being great Battle Monks... I'll pretend you meant the Jade Triad range..

I know Alkemy, I played it a little on a store, and the figs are great. I particularly like Avalon' ones, look like Bretonnians, but they wear crossbows, wich is forbidden for bretonnians

Well i'm quite new to the forum and haven't read most of the threads. I find it very enlightning to go through all threads! besides ginving lots of inspiration and tips, it's great fun to do!.... and it gives me an excuse to put the study books away for a while :p

I agree...with SO MANY new Forumites, there are a lot of older threads that are new to them & a pleasure to see again for us Old Jaded Forumites.
