and so what is the final verdict ? im making up my 1st warband and this the question that crossed my mind, SDC on casters. would be cool given that sorceresses in WHFB could have been represented as naked figures, thats all their clothing could do for prevetion of hits, and that sucked quite a lot, what a waste of 200 points to an extend {played heavy shooting and magic army}.

should i include the SDC on my sorceress/es or not ?

Can't wear it as it counts as a heavy armor even those listed in special.

Armor is armor.

Talk it over with your group with they are easy going.

yea will have to, given im still a newbie they will let me use dark elves for now for the campaign since theyre unofficial atm. il have to limit my GC spent on my casters, what a shame. loved my usuall play style ""i kill u before u get to hit me, if u hit me gratz for the win."" { maybe im exagerating just a bit there Razz but well i love shooting armies}

ty for the response.

I think you will find that it is quite expensive to outfit the dark elves as a shooting warband. Very possible later in a campaign, but early on you will most likely be getting down and dirty in melee (luckily for you, elves are good at everything).
