Model suggestion

Well I'm making a chaos warband for an upcoming campaign. I've just got problems with finding a good model that will fit the role for my condemned. So I hoped someone here could help me with that.

Hey you should just have a look around the painting and modeling or the gallery section. There are a lot of converted condemned around.

You could go with a marauder body and some kind of mutation (from the Chaos mutation sprue or the Chaos Spawn, for example). Or, in case you don't want to convert one yourself, get your hands on a Mordheim Possessed.

I have used a piggy body and an orc body with a cthulhu nids head on top and carnifex arms. Will show it as soon as I have my new camera.

For my other possessed I have ordered one of the original possessed bodies and I will convert something fun with it. It will most likely look a little more like an original possessed since my first looks like a Cthulhucentaur

Trulsa yours sounds wicked! I'm just getting into Lovecraft at the moment!
Rory how about the 40k daemonhosts? They don't look too futuristic, reckon they'd fit for a more subtle take on the condemned...


The penitent psyker (bottom right) from the Inquisitor Lord boxed st might work as well, looks pretty tormented! The only problem is that he does look a bit more futuristic. Even better is that you get all those other wicked minis in the box!

Maybe the Champion from the new Chaos Chosen would work for you. A little expensive but would mean no conversion required.

Yea i know, a mate of mine had just gotten that box for his warband XD. But I'm just not gonna buy a box for 30 euros just for 1 model. I was thinking about a conversion with a beastmen body or something in that direction. Any more idea's ?
