Yes, these colors did the shadows on the skin.

Very nice dwarfes. Nice skin, nice metals, and the other colors are really vibrant. Unexpected, considering you use black basecoat.
The most impressive thing is the speed though, really pays of, to use techniques usually used on WHFB-armies.

If you necessarily have to use citadel paints, Tanned Flesh is the closest you'll get. It's a fair bit darker than Khardic Flesh though.They might have discontinued it too, I couldn't find it on maelstrom just now.

Out of curiosity JoaoS, what's keeping you from trying something other than GW paints? Brand loyalty like that will really limit you.

FKSN, thanks for the tip. I've been wondering about trying other brands. Vallejo is very well reputed in these parts. Also (this is just a very personal view), the new GW paint pots don't stay open, which is very off-putting if you want to continue painting using the same colour for a while...

I would really, really like a tutorial about how you did your flesh tones. You mentioned the colors used, but I'd like to know the order, etc., on what you did on a particular model.

Flesh tones are where I encounter the most trouble, so I'd appreciate something like that if you ever had the time.

I painted blonde hair, using paint Bleached Bone + Gryphon Sephia Wash. Highligth Bleached Bone + Skull White. And finally, the shadows deepened using Grypnon Sephia & Devlan Mud Wash.
