| Hello! These last few days, after our Big Meetup here in Vienna, I've been possessed by some demonic soul and I've been making a lot of scenery for Mordheim. To be honest, I have been inspired a lot by Erkwin's scenery, because he brought a lot of objects with him for the big meetup, like little tables, little benches, little chests, etc... I thought that these scenic components added a lot of details in the streets of mordheim, so I tried to make my own. Tell me what you think! This is a little weapon's rack, abandoned by an unknown soldier, with rusty and unusable weapons; and an archery target. Two barrels. This is a table, useful for finding cover in an open area. I stole inspired myself from Erkwin's table, the one he brought to Vienna. That's a little WIP, soon to be painted, one-wheeled cart lost in the dark streets of the city of the damned. WIP bridge. I "borrowed" the idea from this very forum, actually from the scenery of the Flame On battle reports (I'm talking about this bridge) I'm still planning to make some other stuff, but I'm afraid to start painting cause my drybrushing sucks (especially for wood)... | |

| That's some great stuff! I like the target a lot - simple but effective work! And the cart looks damn professional to me! | |

| You haven't been home long enough to do ALL THOSE UNBELIEVABLY COOL PIECES!! You're probably right about the Daemonic Possession, but fear not the Templars of Holy Sigmar are on their way. Soon your Soul will be free of this Foul Being [of course otherwise you'll be a Crisy Critter ]! Really WONDERFUL STUFF Tortiou. The target, rack, barrels, table [nice piece of theft ], bridge/walkway [ditto ], AND especially the wagon [shouldn't the axle be up on a cement block?] are VERY WELL DONE!, AND the subject of future acts of larceny! BRAVO, ENCORE! | |

| Thanks for all your comments guys! It's really encouraging! - Ashton wrote:

Just simple balsa wood. For the axle, I used a broken IKEA pencil because it's more solid (you can still see the tip of it when you look closely at the center of the wheel) - Duce wrote:

Yeah, this idea crossed my mind, but I don't have any arrows! as for the HtH combat weapons, that's a great idea, thanks for the tip! - thatirwinfella wrote:

| You mean Jason Foss' article "Re-building the city"? Do you have a link to the auction? I'd love to see it!
EDIT: Found it! God, it's so stylish to have these pieces. But some of this stuff (most actually) reached incredibly low prices. What a shame for the creator...

You're not getting off topic, amigo! That's exactly what the title says : "some scenic components" - all inspirational stuff should be posted here. I even think you should save the pictures on your computer and put them on a safer storage web site (other than ebay) and then re-post them, to make sure they are not erased! Thanks for the links

| Bored Duce at work saves the day.. already took the pics for myself for ideas. enjoy ---------- For the arrows, some wire with small bits of card or such glued on work fine if your piercing them into the target. Or even some thin bulsa bits as the shaft may be enough _________________ | |

Or maybe I should re-open my old Lego crates and use the old bows they had for their medieval knights... *desperate sighing* (like this one: http://www.findmybrick.com/images/P1090872.JPG )
