Halflings

I didn't just make a warband on (virtual) paper, I am making one out of models too..these are the first I have painted, more to follow as and when.

Those ARE just terrific, nicely painted, little guys. The one with the sling is one of the MOST personable minis I've seen; he projects an air of Sweet natured innocents within his diminutive psychopathic little bod. VERY WELL DONE!

I hope this is the start of an ENTIRE WarBand.

Apparently that guys from Talisman I think? A mate gave him to me complete with boltpistol for a Necormunda gang I made years ago...but he's better as a Mordheim mini I think

Um the shepherd is the one with the sloing, the ordinary halfling is the guy eating a chicken leg.But if you mean where are they from...the shepherd is apparently from Talisman, the other one is just an old Warhammer halfling. They're awesome models, luckily I have a few!

Well, I think they turned out quite good. Especially the first one - that is one hell of a mini.

Really nice models! And despite the fact that you claim you hate painting eyes, I'm with Cianty on this one - they look great! Very nicely painted models - lots of character, and a great start to a warband. Looking forward to more of these guys!

I've painted a few more up, they look a bit shiny because it's evening so no natural light (using light from my phone instead) and because one of them has been varnished already.
First up a chef, an elder, and a bog ordinary halfling:

Ps alot of these models are on their 2nd or third coat of paint...really I should strip them and start again, but that's way too much hassle for me

A FINE LOOKING Band of Chubby, Gluttonous, Thieving Psychopaths. They defiinitely have a unique charm & character all their own. Each piece has a personality that adds to the War Band as a whole. VERY WELL DONE!

It's good to see all those halfs so beautifully painted, man.

BTW, the first halfling is plastic and came with the "adventurers set" that GW sold a couple of years ago.

The cook is from the "halfling hot pot" and is the commander of the war machine.

It's a shame GW don't sell these minis anymore
