Hi. Well, first off my brother told me about Mordheim about a month or two ago and said he and his coworkers were going to be starting a campaign. He showed me the different warbands to choose from, and I decided on Kislevites, for the bear mostly. He showed me this forum and his dwarfs that he posted and I got interested even more. I am looking forward to playing Mordheim. I'm using Kossite Woodsmen (Khador) models from Warmachine as my pieces, but I don't have any conversions done yet. Thanks for reading.

Hi, zekro! Welcome!

I was gonna say that you chose a very difficult warband miniature-wise, because Kislevites are very hard to find and incredibly expensive on the black market. I have no idea how the Warmachine minis look like so hopefully you'll share some pics of them some time soon.

Enjoy your stay!

Thanks for the friendly welcome! I think these guys will work pretty well for Kislevites. http://couchpotatosports-icg.com/catalog1/images/kossite%20woodsmen%20blister.bmp

I hope this link works, those are just what the Warmachine versions look like, but I'm hoping to convert mine a bit.

Ah, thanks for the link! They indeed look pretty cool to me. Personally I am no fan of using non-Citadel miniatures for Mordheim (please don't ask why, I don't know either. Maybe I am just loyal - spell stupid) but these are defiantely some fine sculpts.

WELCOME TO THE BEST MORDHEIM FORUM! I hope you enjoy your stay. Living in Alaska, & doing Kislevites is rather a bus-man's holiday, eh? I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with; Privateer Press makes some very cool minis. cheers

Welcome, Welcome! I hope you enjoy your stay.

I haven't heard very much about Kislevites. But I look forward to see how they work out for you. And those models look great too.

See ya around,

Welcome.

I'm sure you have thought of this already, but you NEED to have a hero with two axes so you can use this model!

If you ever get any hotchland long rifles you can use my favorite non GW models:

Hell I sound like an advertisement, I only own one warmachine model!

Heh, thanks for the tips! Very Happy Yea that model dual-wielding axes is pretty awesome. Since I'm still a little unsure of what I'm going to use for my captain, that may work. We'll see. I am using the model Yuri the Axe (Warmachine again Razz) as my esaul.
https://www.morgenwelt.org/shop/shop/images/39274.jpg Sorry about the links, but I'm afraid I don't know how to just get a pic there. I'm not using the bear traps on the side though, but I think I'll add those on my Bear Tamer, for looks. Again, thanks guys.
