Hello all
I used to play Mordheim, Warhammer and a little of the Lord of the Rings GW game (although I started first with the old Mordheim!), stopped a few years ago however due to lack of time really, college and stuff. I've been desperate for a good game for a while now and I've thus decided to start playing again.
I'm 17 and from the north-east of England. Hartlepool if there are any northeners around here.
I'm for the most part a Dwarf player, though I also play Bretonnians in Warhammer, haven't got round to using their warband in mordheim.
My girlfriends shown interest in the game (A FEMALE PERSONS PLAYING WARHAMMER?! BLASPHEMAAYY!) and a few friends have considered playing, some of them who used to play Warhammer. On that basis I might hopefully be able to start a campaign although currently I'd be maxed out with about 5 players including myself. First however I've gotta teach some peoples how to play!
In any case I stumbled across this here forum. Hopefully I'll be able to learn a little off the players here (I was never very good) and maybe learn to paint while I'm at it (oh my, how bad my painting is!) |

Don't worry, I am sure everyone here will be more than happy to assist and help you with any questions you might have about painting, modelling or gameplay (we have quite a few veterans on the forum, but you might want to give extra attention to posts by our omniscient sage "Cianty" when it comes to rules  )

Sorry, good to hear you are coming back to the hobby. And a small campaign would be a good easy way for others to get in.
Notthat many miniatures, so it is easy and relative cheap to get started. |

PS: Sadly my gf will probably never play Mordheim or anything tabletop. But she's fine with me spending a lot of time on that hobby so I don't think I can complain. Hm, maybe it just takes some pink orcs and goblins or something to get her hooked...

Haha, yea, I forced my wife to play a little brawl... just 10 models 6 inches apart, and she toasted me... lol ... hopefully she'll come around when I get a campaign going.
(Edit: I don't know why I think Campaign needs an "h"...)

I'm not sure if I dare upload any pictures of my models, they really are just horrific. I might start repainting a few now, I'm a little more patient and steady handed these days I imagine (hope?).
I'll have to start putting the crafts into building some landscapes mind, I'm really stuck to tables and the odd standard Morheim buildings. |

I was in the exact same boat. I started painting my first two "good ones" recently, and I'll post them when I'm done.
