I trucked all my terrain over to a friend's place to play some Mordheim yesterday. Great fun was had by all... but I only managed to snap a few pictures in the excitement.

Great reports! The table looks awesome. thumbsup

 Its fun to hear of games that are a bit less optimum in warband choices and tactics.  I had a player start a campaign with only the Beastman chief last year. He won both of his first  games and then didn't come back.  (He also gained no heroes after his second game.)  I figured he was at a huge disadvantage income wise, but he got lucky and played Wyrdstone hunt the first game...  Beasts are fast.

Great looking stuff -- that's a really beautiful board. & you have my sympathy for the way those games went. Skaven aren't the bravest creatures when you've got a monster to fight, & having just played my first games as dwarfs I'm really getting to know their limitations (despite the warband name, they're not the best treasure seekers!).

Again, fun looking games on outstanding scenery.

Von Kurst:  I don't know about my opponent but I just went with what the models are outfitted with. I can see why people change Heavy Armour to a 4+ save as between the Minotaur, all the weapons that reduce your armour save (axes, handguns, etc) and critical hits armour was hardly even a factor.

Ryydderch: We were just playing "pick up games", not a campaign so we didn't bother with any of the after game stuff- so no treasure seeking. And besides, the Dwarves were wiped out... Crying or Very sad

I meant during the main game -- when they've got buildings to search or wyrdstone to pick up they're at quite a disadvantage to warbands who can, y'know, move. Especially Beastmen!

The 'Incomparable Miners' rule means they do alright in the Exploration Phase -- as long as you've got someone left to explore...
