PostSubject: Mordheim Mobile Video Game Adaptation by Legendary Games   Thu 27 Oct 2016 - 4:17

Hey all,

Hope you're all doing well! My name's Edward and I work for a company called Legendary Games. We're a multi-platform developer who're working on a new adaptation of Mordheim. I contacted Tom not long ago so that I could tell you all about this, as we're currently looking for testers at the moment. The game is still in development (alpha build) but we're anticipating it'll be finished some time in November (this could change though). The game will be available on mobile devices both iOS and Android, so if you're using either of those you're eligible to test it out.

I'm sure you're all wondering what sort of Warbands will actually be featured in the game, and to answer your question the following are:
The three Mercenary Warbands we currently have in-game (Reikland, Marienburg, Middenheim).
Skaven.
Undead.
Cult of the Possessed.
Witch Hunters.
Sisters of Sigmar.

The best way to get signed up is via our Forums. Where you can directly introduce yourself to the rest of the community and myself. I check it on a daily basis, so it's highly likely that I'll see your post within the same day of you posting it! Or, alternatively if you don't have time to be on the Forums at the moment you can head over to the Mordheim: Warband Skirmish website where you can sign up for the Newsletter and to be notified when you've been selected for Testing.

Recently we've implemented a tutorial within the game so it'd be great to get whoever is interested in this on-board ASAP so that we can get some feedback from the community! I might not be very active on this Forum, as I have to keep an eye out on our own Forums but I will try to respond to any of you as quickly as I can. Before I go I wanted to show you all the sort of art direction we're going in with this game, so below is a render of a small Reikland Warband created by our Artist Sam. Hope you like our work and I do hope to see you soon in the city of Mordheim.

Just chiming in to say this is legit. Edward from Legendary games asked me to include the following links for those interested in signing up for the alpha testing.

I have signed up myself and given it a try. I was pleasantly surprised that the devs seem to attach much importance to staying true to the original.

Hello and Happy New Year to all,

I realise I haven't been very active on the forums, and I do apologise for that. One thing I would like to keep every one updated with is what stage we're currently at and when we expect to release.

At the moment we're currently in beta stage of testing and are still actively inviting people in to join the testers team. That means if you want to, feel free to head over to our Mordheim: WS site and sign up or alternatively for a more direct approach head over to our forums and introduce yourself to the rest of the community.

Recently, we added a new map variation to the game as well as a new outfit for the Marienburg models. Below is a link to a post we made on Twitter showing exactly what this change looks like.

At the moment we're trying our hardest to crack down on a bug which is unfortunately causing the game to crash for players. But with continued hard work from our team, and support from our testers we're confident we can get rid of it before release! We definitely wouldn't be happy launching with such a bug in-game.

With all that being said we plan to release the game on February 1st! So if any of you are interested in the game at all make sure you keep a note of that date. We look forward to meeting more of you in this brilliant community, so feel free to join us on any of the social media platforms we're currently on or like I've said previously sign up to our forums.

PostSubject: Launch to iOS devices in Australia   Mon 20 Mar 2017 - 7:57

Big news everyone!! (especially for any of you Aussies out there)

Mordheim: Warband Skirmish has been launched on the Apple appstore, and is available to purchase if you're an Australian resident! This will be exclusive to Aus for a limited time (until worldwide release around Apri-May) so if you've been keeping an eye on this thread and are interested in getting your hands on a copy, go and check it out!

We aren't excluding any of you Android users either, and have hopes to be releasing on the Google Play store relatively soon! If you'd like any updates on this please do keep an eye on this thread.

If you aren't up to speed with how Mordheim: Warband Skirmish is currently looking below are some updated screenshots so that you can see what has changed since my first post in this thread...
