Scenery and Terrain posts with no pics

I've spent a considerable amount of time going through the Scenery and Terrain posts and enjoying all of the WIP's but I noticed that there are a considerable number of them that no longer host any pictures which I'm sure is understandable for a number of reasons. Would it be too cumbersome to remove posts of works in progress that no longer host pictures? This is an obvious noob opinion, but could possibly save space and maybe another overzealous noobs time (okay maybe just me).

Threads in the S&T section are not only about posting photos but also about discussing techniques or other things. I think it is impossible to clearly reduce a thread's usefulness to its contained photos and then lock it or move it to an archive section (which we don't even have). I know that I wouldn't want to act as such a "quality manager".

I assume the threads you refer to are so old that they are buried far back in the later pages of the section anyways and shouldn't really distract users.

My suggestion is to simply send a private message to the author and kindly ask for updated photos.

I see your point and yes most are from older posts. The PM idea seems to be the most logical solution. I'll give that a go with some of the posts I would like to see. Thanks for the reply.
