Thanks, Jim. I had a tune from Carmen buzzing around inside my head...the Wabbiit Song may actually be an improvement.  

Last weekend, I decided to prep stuff, base, & such. One of the things to sprout from all that was the Mushroom Queen & some Minions:


...she'll be getting additional detailing I'm sure, but this is where she is now.  

And a fine place it is, too. Her majesty has to have minions, or spores...

Awesome. With the emphasis on awe. All I can see is Hilary...with eighties hair.

These are going to be epic.

She looks less Hilary like. Perhaps its the lack of sleep.

Thanks, Jim. I think not being green anymore may account for a less Hillary look...the lack of sleep is still in the running though.  

I've spent the last hour and a half looking through your work, Deafnala, and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface. Your works are truly inspiring. Your design, sculpting, and color palette blend into a unique mix of horror, comedy, and surrealism. Maybe its all the wonderful mushrooms, but I'll have to keep coming back to get my "fix".

Thanks for the kind reply, Doc. I'm glad you are enjoying the project. Here on Tom's the stuff is spread through a few threads. On the Lead Adventure Forum it's lumped together in a 200+page Horror Story.

Could be; that is a good suggestion...I'll add it to the list. I used to have a list of character names for the AD&D games I ran. Even then, if I didn't write them down I'd forget them. The only problem with a god/cool/funny name is that so named character tend to die immediately in horrible ways.

Cool names and unusual/horrible deaths? Kind of sums up my RPG experience. Especially anything Warhammer. Ahh, the infamous list of names that no GM could do without when running on the fly.
