Thanks, Codsticker. Do give them a try. Making trees is rather addictive though. If you have any questions on how something is done, I will be happy to answer them. Heres some other ideas on tree making from L.A.F.:

AND now the finished Spooky Woods Photo Stage:

...with the foreground pieces removed there is more room for miniatures & some different angle are possible:

...FINALLY two Brave Goblins volunteered to be The First Folk photographed in The Woods.
They are Bwana Bateye & his Loyal Henchperson, Beastly Burden:

...there now, that wasn't so bad was it? I do hope you enjoyed the trip.  clown pig

Thanks, Codsticker! I am glad you like the stage, AND the positive feedback is good for morale.
Now I'm thinking of Street Scene Stage...this may be taking over my life such as it is. What a Face

Bwana & his associates were the volunteers for a photo shoot in the first Spooky Woods board, the one by Heep's place.

Fantastic stuff -- both the photo set & goblin hunting party. Though I am a bit jealous your photo backdrops are so much nicer than my game boards... Ah well, more work for me!

Bwana really looks like he's just realised one of the trees is going to eat him.

Thanks for the kind reply, Rhydderch. I am glad you like the stuff.
The thing with game boards is that you have to make concessions to detail to make them usable for the games. Pushing the limits is an enjoyable activity though.  What a Face
The possibility of being some larger creatures lunch is a part of life for Goblin kind.  clown

SO somewhere in the middle of the night a thought intruded its way into my dreams that The Mushroom Forest NEEDED to be made more useful. This entailed removing the big central Mushroom & basing it separately. To avoid a recurrence of the dream suggestion, I did just that. Here is the result:

With the Mushroom now stage right & left:

Some more ambulatory Mushrooms volunteered to pose in the new setting:

AND I have a couple of Creepy Trees in the works. This is the first one from a couple days ago:

With the second one added & both progressing:

With baseball season winding down & the somewhat lower temperatures, I am starting to pick up speed...slowly. clown pig

I like the re-vamped mushroom forest.

Is that Sculpey you are laying over that wire tree frame? I have used it before but I had a hard time getting it to stick.

Plodding along through the Spooky Woods project, I finished twisting the wires on the first two Trees, did some hot glue coating/texturing, & sculpted the air clay bark on Tree #1..you will observe there is now a Tree #3 in the works:

AND, awhile after the first photos, the clay had dried hard enough to handle. SO I did the face on Tree #1:

That does it for today. Have a FUN evening! clown
