Serene Annihilation

The universe is at odds with itself.  What should not be, is.  The Great Rebellion has succeeded.  Magnus the Pious has perished.  Madness cavorts openly through the streets.  That which was familiar has become twisted.  And that which was once unnerving is now utterly horrific.

Onto this stage strides Enoch!  A new version of the previously seen Pumpkinheads.  He represents the continual evolution of the City of the Damned beyond the limits allotted to it by history - and sanity.

That is a coincidence; i.e., I've added a few new Pumpkin Heads to one of my threads as well. Yours is a SPLENDID example of the genre. VERY NICELY DONE!

Awesome!  I love your guys!  It looks like maybe we both bought the same pack of Reaper brand jack-o'-lanterns?  I found they are a pain because they are pewter and HEAVY.

Thanks, Millenium_King...glad you like them. I have a feeling the Jack O'Lanterns would lose their crispness in Bones.

Another update! Atlas here represents what I feel is the natural evolution of my Blue Whale Knights. He is a hero in my post-schism Witch Hunters warband (tentatively titled the Dreamlanders)

He has a Chaos Space Marine look to him that I, surprisingly, like...I'm not a big on Space Marines. VERY NICELY DONE!

Not sure what you mean... did you mean "Putrid Knight?" The base models I used for all the Blue Whale Knights are from the Putrid Blightkings. Except for this guy. The base model is actually the new Orruk Megaboss.

Glad you like him! The base model was actually the Orruk Megaboss from the new Age of Sigmar stuff. I shaved off all the rivets, added more plates and smoothed out the glyphs. The hands are ogre hands, the axe is from the Putrid Blightkings and so are the heads. Some greenstuff used (the neck, mostly), but not too much.

Yes, the Putrid Knights. I'm not too familiar with all the new names. Good use of the new Ork...äh Orruk model.

An unspeakable cosmic horror from the heart of deepest void! A terror simultaneously with and without form. Immune to all but magic and hungry for flesh - the Gelatinous Cube!

It sure is. It's the Gelatinous Cube from their Bones line. For anyone who has not checked it out, I highly recommend looking into Reaper Bones. The prices are phenomenal and they have some really cool stuff. The sculpts suffer a little because of the material (which is soft, not hard plastic) but for the price it's certainly worth it. Plus they have a lot of cool transparent stuff.

A construct made from magic and flesh and ichor. A familiar that gets stronger for every spell caster you have on the battlefield.

More monstrosities! The concept of "pumpkinhead" continues to expand. Thus far there have been Pumpkinhead warriors and Pumpkinhead Eidolons the size of ogres. But this newly sighted terror is a Pumpkinhead Witch capable of leeching the very spirit from a poor unfortunate's body! Tremble before Baba Yaga!

AS a maker of Pumpkin Heads myself, I do enjoy your versions of the genre. You have a nice creepy feel to your Guys. OUTSTANDING WORK!

Sparrow has joined with Nightingale and the less scrupulous remnants of the shattered Witch Hunter warband. Her magic will hopefully prove useful against the future horrors which shift between realities.
