Buildings - Looking for ruined buildings kits Empty
PostSubject: Looking for ruined buildings kits   Buildings - Looking for ruined buildings kits Icon_minitimeMon 23 Nov 2015 - 14:24

Hi all. This is probably the millionth time you've been asked this but do any of you know the best place (or places) to buy Mordheim-style ruined buildings? I'm specifically looking for open buildings with different floor levels. The Warlord Games ruined farmhouse/Hamlet is sort of the thing I'm looking for but maybe a bit more detailed/realistic.
Connecting walkways and ladders would also be a bonus.
Thanks in advance.

Most people make their own, but there are other pricier options.

What sort of budget have you got and how quickly do you want to get started?

Yeah.....I considered making my own but the level of detail I'm after is going to be a pain in the bum with building from scratch.
I'm not really bothered about price as long as it looks good and would like to get started as soon as possible Razz

Well, Escenorama's modular ruins look good. As do the new Dwarven Forge city and sewer sets, but they are unlikely to be available until 2016.

If you don't mind laser-cut MDF, 4Ground's Ruins of Daldoor could be an option.

There is not much, but the thing that comes closest is probably by Escenorama:

There is a 125€ deal for all the buildings. Unfortunately I've heard the quality to be rather poor, quite a few bigger gaps and such.
If you are fine with lasercut stuff I'd recommend 4Ground they have ruins both in their "Ruins od Daldorr"-range (obviously) and their "Mordanburg "-range.

Only heard praise about their products!

Dammit, I should have send this thing off before going for tea...

Yeah. That Esconorama stuff is spot on. The ruined village works out about £90 which I reckon is well worth it.
Thanks.
