| Hello everyone. Here are some images from my Mordheim setting, the Throne of Bones. It's all about vampires and ghouls with a definite horror style, although there will be the odd treasure seeker eventually. The vampires are drawn to the catacombs searching for the Throne. Here's a ghoul tribe and a few hapless humans: The strigoi, king of the ghouls: He leads a pack of hyenas: This is a necrarch, Morrowloch. The necrarchs in the Throne of Bones use zombies as their eyes, controlling hordes of shambling, mindless, tireless scouts. Finally I have a Lahmian, Valentine Sans Merci: She is accompanied by a giant black dog with a tragic background. Their full story can be found here: http://www.exprofundis.com/mlle-valentine-sans-merci-la-bete/There are also more photos and such on my blog, I won't copy it all here. There are some WIPs as well that I tend to post on DakkaDakka and some other participants. | |

| Great setting, love the storyline and models. Do you plan scenarios and special rules as well? | |

| I see your Vampire Tales translate BEAUTIFULLY to miniatures. Your creations are WONDERFULLY horrifying models, boasting OUTSTANDING color choices & brushwork. VERY WELL DONE! | |

| Whoa, I know I shouldn't say that, but I sure am happy you didn't participate in our painting competition I like both your painting style and choice of minis (well, mostly). Took a quick peek on your blog and will surely spent some more time there shortly for your WIPs. The Pit Fighter is awesome btw! | |

| Mmmm, very very pretty!
I'd been wondering if the Savage Orc Warboss could be used as the base for a Strigoi conversion; looks like the answer is yes. And the black and white color scheme on the Lamian is extra striking. Overall great stuff!

| Jap, can only secnd what the others said, great job all in all. I do like the way you paint your bases, very nice dusty matt finish. The Lamian lady in front of the big creature here reminds me straight of the movie "brotherhodd of the wolves "! _________________ Lord Flasheart: And always remember - if you want something, take it! | Really really good conversions and painting.
Have you read the two short stories from black library detailing Vorag Bloodytooth? The beginning has some similar ideas

| Thanks all.
I'm thinking of a couple of different types of game, both in subterranean environments - one would be fairly standard Mordheim, except with only Vampire gangs allowed. The other would be a sort of RPG/Mordheim hybrid - similar to something I've done with Necromunda/Inquisimunda in the past. Each player would bring a single hero, and a gamesmaster controls the vampires and ghouls. It's worked well before, with the introduction of some simple conversation and intelligence tests alongside all the fighting.
The hyenas are converted from MaxMini Necrohounds.
I haven't read that Vorag story, although the synopsis sounds cool. I'm more into small scale stuff though, no leading armies here - the Throne of Bones is where vampires are driven mad in a futile search.

| The first part of Vorag would be right up your alley, it's about an outcast vampire leading a small group into a huge mountain infected with ghouls before finally coming face to face with their king. I actually can't believe you haven't read it, it sounds so much like what you're working on.
Sounds like a cool way to play. There really shouldn't be anything to keep people from playing Inquisiheim.

| A Mordheim campaign with only Vamps allowed is a really tempting idea. One just has to make sure the tables are smaller than usual, so the warbands don't spend 10 turns strolling into combat. | |

| Those miniatures are breathtaking - and the stories on your blog are superb too.
Morrowloch's zombies are they some sort of mantic ghoul/zombie kitbash - they look great!

| The zombies are mantic zombies with some quick conversion work - mostly just daubed on textured paint and greenstuff vines to try and reduce the amount of obvious duplicates. This is Adon, a Blue Whale Knight and pitfighter hired sword: More images and background here: http://www.exprofundis.com/adon-blue-whale-knight-pitfighter/ | |

| He's made from a Blightking. The base is a plywood disc with a milliput pressmold for the rocks, then painted with enamels and weathering powders. | |

| Adon looks excellent, the free hand whale is very impressive and the background is suitably tragic and comical. | |

| Great stuff, really liking this project so far. It has a style all of it's own, much like the garden of hectate blog (but for Mordheim (garden of hectate is proxy malifaux) | |
