PostSubject: Presentation and Undead Bloodlines Rule   Thu 11 Jun 2015 - 2:01

Hi all,
i'm new to this forum but not to mordheim, i'm the MM of the actual campaign.

I'm actually play a campaign with my Restless Dead warband which end before summer holyday, but i need something a little bit faster for the next warband.

In the next campaing, which will start in september, i'm thinking to allow the bloodlines rule for the undead warband, and try myself to use one of those extra rule.

(can be found here http://return-to-mordheim.blogspot.it/2012/03/mordheim-undead-vampire-bloodlines.html)

anyone have experience with this?

I did not know these rules.

I like them, although they are not balanced. I think Blood Dragon and strogoi are much stronger the Carstein, Necrarch and especially Lahmia.

The additional blood line powers also improves the normal Carstein nuilt against other warbands.

I personally think the alternatives are too cheap because they nearly only get advantages without additional costs.

If you increase costs for the Vampire I think it could work.

Have fun

I fully agree that the alternatives presented here aren't all balanced, and some should have higher costs on the vampire. But I do have to add that they are closer to it than the Blood Dragon and Lahamia lists that are out there.

I also like that fact that skeletons are in there. That's still one of the more puzzling things from the original rule book to me.

I kinda like these rules, though, as others have suggested, they are not quite balanced. This would probably be a list I could tweak a bit and use for our own games, but it definitely has a lot of potential for a fun and interesting warband.
