| Whilst rummaging in the loft for some dwarves I found my orcs & goblin models. Amongst their number was this fella, who got a different paint scheme about 6 months ago: At the time I was going to re-do the whole army in this scheme as I don't actually like orcs & goblins in green, but never got round to it. I'm now thinking a small warband might look the business like this, though. What do folks think of the colour scheme? Will dark red greenredskins work in those dark streets? | |

| Those kobolds are nice - I might have to use 'em in a beastman warband at some point. They would make good ungors.
The slightly more orange colour of their skin is an intriguing option as well. | |

| i've always been partial to a reddish scheme for orcs, but i probably have the first world of warcraft expansion to blame for that. That skeletal hand on the shield is awesome too. | |

| He is a COOL Little Guy...it's a Goblin thing. The red flesh tones do look good. I've been doing my Night Goblins in a golden brown highlighting up to sand which seems right for their subterranean life style. The forest/above ground variety have been getting a burnt orange coloration with some individual variation. Highlights on your Guy could go into orange. That LOVELY nose might look good with a purple wash. In any case this is fantasy so go with your own ideas & have FUN with them. | |

| I've been away for a little while - real life gets in the way sometimes! I've not got a lot painted, but I've been playing a fair bit, and these guys have made it across my painting table recently. It's not until you compare these to the new offerings that you realise just how much GW's goblinoids have "evolved" over the years. I must admit these look less burly but more cunning somehow. I think the red's growing on me as a colour scheme, too. There are also some walking suits of armour dwarves getting painted up at the moment. | |

| The first thing I notice with the older G.W. Orcs is that they didn't have the same leg positions that I associate with gorillas. The Old Boys have a LOT more personality to boot. Your brushwork, bases, & color choices are all OUTSTANDING. GREAT WORK! | |
