Hello all.....
I have been playing Mordheim since launch.
I own almost all of the models and many more from the WH fantasy line that were pressed into service.

I found this websource this morning.. I am very excited to join as I thought Mordheim was all but dead..... it is a shame, really.

I am older... 44.... been playing all kinds of games since the early 80's... both historic and fantasy miniature games and also RPG's and MMOs, etc.... I also have done my fair share of CCG's.... having worked for I.C.E at one point as a tournament director for MECCG.

I also have the STEAM version alpha for Mordheim City of the Damned.... that game has great potential.

Anyway.. I am joining up for a few reasons.... primarily to be in a community of folks who love the game and still play it, to get some knowledge on scenery making and also to try to complete my collection.

more on that later.....

I am a huge fan.... Mordheim is my single favorite miniature game ever.... next up is the LOTR skirmish game.

Thanks! I am hoping to jump right back on this horse! I ordered a bunch of figures from GW earlier this week and they will be in next Tuesday they say.... I picked up the "end times" Skaven warlord and assassin.. they will make a fine addition to my pack!

I also picked up some of the Empire "end times" figures.... soem of those captains will make great hero additions to my human war bands! I especially like the captain with the hammer & pistol... he can be Averlander or Reiklander easily enough (sadly I never got him when he wa sin lead form). The other captain with the great sword is very cool too.... I picked up a couple of priests and such and I added myself to the notification roll on a few of the sold out figures.... especially Markus Wulfhart... he will make a great Kislvite or marksman!

My bit "thing" though is to get motivated on scenery making.... to date, personally.. I have only been playing on hobby store scenery or the stuff I put together form the original box set and 2 blood in th estreets packs. I have picked up soem other stuff, but I aspire to the scratch built stuff that I see and love!
