I'll try and "save" the model by changing the gems' colour. If not I'll have a rifle through my collection to see If I have a double axe wielding slayer that's contemporary with the others and doesn't resemble a walking beard waving two axes in the air.

I'm happy enough with the paint job - just not sure about the model it's coating!

After another flurry of rather successful games with the wee beardy ones as new clansman has joined the band:

The shield (especially the white bit) needs finishing and may well have a decal added.

I don't think I'll be adding new members until I fill the 6th hero slot on the roster. I'm going to focus on tooling up the existing members. From a modelling point of view I'll need to decide if I'm going to convert the existing models or get a different one to represent the new kit that will soon appear. I'll take a view on it each time but suffice to say more updates will follow soon.

What a COOL Little Guy! The Lad show an abundance of personality & beard on a nicely done base. The red on the shield could stand some brightening & some neatening of the white, but other than that GREAT WORK!   thumbsup

The old style dwarf models have so much character. Your dwarfs look great!

Nice paintjob. Just one thing - please paint the wrapping around the handle.
