In the Rulebook we have, like in Warhammer, Compulsory Movement, defined like this:

2. Compulsory Moves
Sometimes a model is forced to move in a certain way and this is called a compulsory move. For example, a fighter whose nerve breaks must run away from his enemies and take cover. Make all of your models’ compulsory moves before finishing any remaining movement.

But what does this really cover?
Does it cover moves made by stupidity, frenzied charges, Squig movement, Spawn of Chaos movement?

None of these are noted as being 'compulsory moves', but stupidity for instance is rolled at the beginning of the turn:

Mordheim Rulebook p. 23 wrote:
Models that are stupid test at the start of their turn to see if they overcome their stupidity.

[...]

If a model who fails a Stupidity test is not in hand-to-hand combat, roll a D6.
1-3 The warrior moves directly forward at half speed in a shambling manner. He will not charge an enemy (stop his movement 1" away from any enemy he would have come into contact with). He can fall down from the edge of a sheer drop (see the Falling rules) or hit an obstacle, in which case he stops. The model will not shoot this turn.
4-6 The warrior stands inactive and drools a bit during this turn. He may do nothing else, as drooling is so demanding.

So this means that it should be in the Compulsory Movement phase, as it is "forced too move in a certain way"?

This might seem simple, and perhaps the way most of us are playing anyway, but it is just nice to get cleared up, as Stupidity is tested in the beginning of the turn, but the movement might not occur right after, but only after charges has been declared.

Yup, any movement like Stupidity or Random Movement that determines if/how far a model must move is Compulsory Movement, even though GW is really bad at listing them as such.

I know Very Happy that's how I got into the whole compulsory thing and started to wonder which ones were really compulsory and which weren't. I'd assume it was those I listed, but if anyone had something to add, that would be great (as I noticed we had been playing stupidity wrong all along!)

Very bad indeed.
Right, so I'll assume it's those 4 things so far! (Perhaps something in the unofficial/experimental warbands as well, think the Clan Skryre Ogre has something compulsory as well, if something special is rolled. The Bounty Hunter too I presume, with the whole 'must move towards or shoot assigned target?)

Although not labelled compulsory such as you would see "Parry" on a weapon type or "Animal" on a warband members list entry, most if not all moves that would fall into the compulsory section of the movement phase seem to be fairly straight forward. If its not a move that you can make a choice whether to make or not, make it during the compulsory section of movement.

Timing can matter. Big dumb troll failed stupidity and lumbers into the narrow mouth of an alleyway the boys were planning on running down? Too bad. Witch Hired sword is just in range to cast on that archer in the back but now an enemy warrior draws too near? Gotta move away.

The Bounty Hunter being compulsory would be more of a choice. If you can see and choose not to shoot, then move towards the bounty target. I have not seen this Hired Sword in play but I am modeling one now and would say moving towards is less strict than the must-charge frenzy rule. Moving towards with some slight lateral movement to use cover, not a straight line down the middle of the street would be my thought.
