We had a great co-op scenario that we adapted from a solo scenario, which we originally adapted from resident evil. It basicly entails however many players you want (to a reasonable limit, as we played with betweent 3 and), and each player has 200 gc to spend on a maximum of 3 models.
Once you have done this, you set up a map with a large building in the centre and very little scenery other than this. This building is the 'inn' (or similiar gathering place) everyone sets up inside or near to, so it helps if it is a building that you can access the inside of. One player is the inn staff, the other players are guests and are all chugging back a few pitns after a hard day. But what's that noise from outside...could it be...a zombie horde approaching the tavern?
basicly everyone has to defend the tavern or run for their lives, player's choice. but its a great laugh and you can adapt it in any way you see fit. One game it was a burlesque theatre staffed by sisters of sigmar that the patrons had to defend from an angry mob (think simpsons) but basicly whatever you like.

P.S I apologise for my poor english

a fun rule for these is a barricade building option.

1 turn = small barricade,
2 turns = medium barricade
3 turns = large well fortified barricade

each has the number of wounds as turns spent, and get hit on 4's etc

means zombies have to break them down, and it gives swordsmen or heroes something to do whilst your ranged people shoot some down.

If you're doing the Rats in the Sewers one, here's a sample chart you can use (it's worked for me)

1-3 Giant Rat
4-5 Rabid Rat. Has Strength 4 and Frenzy, but is taken out of action on an Injury roll of 3+.
6 - Skaven Warrior, armed with 2 daggers.

If it was a group game, I'd include Rat Spawns, but for a solo game that seems too powerful.

And be sure to use the Sewer rules by Christian Ellegaard and/or by Karl Hayden, both easy to find online. If you're at all interested, I have a version of the Random Happenings Chart I modified for Sewers and Dungeons.

One suggestion would be to use the Random Happening Rules and modify to be a little more intense and or use some Warhammer Quest event cards and double up the amount of enemy characters.

All these ideas! I have another scenario that would be suited for Solo Playing. Andy might remember the spiders I created, as those have set rules and nice little surprises for those unlucky enough to find them. I would just have to convert it into a solo version scenario.
