Murderheim - Mercenary Challenge
(part thirteen)

IN CONCLUSION

Running a Mordheim campaign with a set number of scenarios and victory conditions worked really well and was a lot of fun. If you've got dedicated players that are committed, then I would strongly recommend giving it a try.

We're already in the planning stages of the next campaign where we will all be taking the same warband type or running with a theme.

Personally the highlights for me were the deaths of the Reiklander and Middenheimer Captains in game one, possibly one of the worst starts imaginable (aside from losing your entire warband!) and the storyline that developed with the Reiklander Captain Rolof learning foul sorcery and slowly becoming corrupted by it's power and his own arrogance, only to be taken down by a blunderbuss shot fired by a lucky Middenheimer (that final game could have gone differently otherwise). This might not be the last we've seen of Rolof... *cue cliffhanger drama music*

So without further delay, here's the final results...

FINAL STANDINGS

Legion of the Wolf - Middenheimers

Wins: 1
Final Rating: 140

Frasier's Felons - Marienburgers

Wins: 5
Final Rating: 144

Rolof's Old Guard - Reiklanders

Wins: 4
Final Rating: 166

In the end we had two winners, the Marienburgers secured the most wins and the Reiklanders ended on the highest warband rating.

A big thanks to everyone that followed/comment/looked at the pics!

It is always somewhat sad to see a campaign come to an end, especially one as attractive as this one. It did go out in GRAND style though. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE SNAPPY DRESSERS!   cheers

Great campaign Din. You have truly awful luck, but I appreciate your dedication in completing this campaign and the record of it.
