Hello all,

I had an idea for running one of my players through a game that involves stealth, and was looking for any thoughts and opinions.

The player and the enemy make opposed Initiative checks to see if the player can remain hidden. The lower the score after modifiers, the better.

Roll your a d6 and subtract your initiative score and any modifiers.

Modifiers (these are what I could think of that make sense to me): concealment (-1), no armor (-1), slow movement (-1).

An example of what I am thinking:

Model A has an I of 4. Rolls a 3; 3-4 = -1.
Model B has an I of 4, rolls a 3; 3-4 = -1 and has no armor (-1), bringing total down to a -2.
Winner is Model B, not seen and is able to sneak on by the other model or attempt an attack.

Regards,

Its not the same thing, but we use the rules for sentries from Relics of the Crusades.

I completely forgot about that one. Thanks for the reminder, that will work just fine and still be fun.

In my group we use the Rescue scenario from Necromunda at the appropriate times, just tweaked a little so it runs in Mordheim. That works well for us and stops the hostage negotiations getting out of hand.

Thanks Von Kurst and Lord O, we play so many custom scenarios in my group that I often forget to look at what is already written.
