Heyo!

I'm Mr. Dancy Pants. I'm from Central Virginia, USA. I play three warbands; Orcs, Norse, and Empire Mercenaries.

The business student in me loves Marienburg, so I primarily play Marienburg Mercenaries, headed by Captain Leopold von Handel.

My primary approach to the game is from the standpoint that my warbands are, first and foremost, treasure hunters. Dead men can't spend money, so they're focused on making the maximum amount of money, whether they win or lose. All of my hired swords are chosen based on their ability to gain wyrdstone or gold, as are my primary skills for each hero.

My Mordheim group stands in awe of the 14 dice I roll for exploration.

Thanks. Yeah, 6 heroes with Money Maker skills equate to 12 dice and choosing 6. The Beggar rolls a 13th die, and my musician with Master of Lore gives me a 14th die. Winning actually gives me 15.

With 7 rabbits' feet and Entrance to the Catacombs, I get 8 re-rolls, and having a Wood Elf Ranger and a musician with Lore means I can manipulate two dice + or - 1, so I get to pretty much just choose where I want to explore on the charts.

Doing so allows me to find the Alchemist's Lab, so I can give my other heroes Academic Skill access, so they can get Wyrdstone Hunter (more re-rolls on exploration) and Streetwise (additional +1 to find rare stuff). Then I can find the Jeweller's place, or whatever, that gives me jewels that add another +2 to find rare stuff.

15 dice, choose 6, minimum 8 re-rolls, two dice manipulations, +3 to exploration total from Goblin Lantern Bearer, extra gold from Arabian Merchant, and being able to get +4 to find whatever I want means that I don't care if I win or lose, I'm gonna make bank.

I don't know if I'll rake it in quite like Mittburg R-Money, but I never liked running one of those warbands that needed to slaughter every warband it faced in order to stay decent.

Well the big attraction for Mordheim is the chance for sudden wealth; you're just being more up front about the GOLD, Glory, & God schtick...Mitt is 1% of a kind.   What a Face

No relation, but I'm sure we could work out a suitable rate of interest on any amount that you wish to borrow, depending on your current assets and outstanding liabilities.
