Hej tommies,

last week i decided to finally work on my idea concerning random happenings on cards.
I took 25 to start with, wrote different happenings on them, and the meaning is that you place this deck of cards beside the table so that everytime a modell enters a ruin for the first time the player has to draw one of the cards.
Then he or she have to do as the happening tells them to.

Will soon post pics and sometext samples,

SO, as promissed, samples:





" on ground floor you find a injured ghoul, chrouched in a corner.
He darts malignant glances at the fighter who just entered the building.
Roll a D6:
1-2 He flees through a hatch in the floor
3-4 He begs for mercy ( Vampires could buy him at half price)
5-6 Inflamed with rage he charges the nearest model

Thanks for your backing guys!
SerialMom also liked the idea, and we are going to test them in our next game.
I always liked the adventurecard-thing from talisman, dont know, but it brings a bit of uncertainty into the game, and this i like.
Back in my youth when we had roleplaying every week or so, i LOVED random encounters.
And the best thing is that you could go on and on creating new little happenings and pile them on the others, that makes it even better.
Oh, of course there are also " Nothing happens " cards in the deck, for 25 i made 8 of them, weīll see how it turns out.
Will report immidiatly after the next game!Wink

Thse look great and add some atmosphere to your games. I thought about doing this with the Random Happenings events but they are too long to fit on cards!
