I'll try to build a small board in desert climate.

This is a sample of rocks...

...and walls

I still have to work on that...

COOL! I also am working on some desert pieces for a friend's 40K gaming table. It will be good having a source of ideas/inspiration. Both the rook & the brick & stucco pieces look WONDERFUL. Keep up the GREAT WORK!   thumbsup

Rock formations look great so far. I'd strongly recommend making the board itself uneven with sand drifts. That type of terrain is never fully flat.

The rocks look great! But don't you think they'd be better if they were multi-levelled so the warriors can clamber up them?

@Luddite: It's not directly to playing.

@Theycallmejosh: It's chipboard, the rocks are only placed on that.

That is a potentially SPECTACULAR gaming board...it would make an equally spectacular display piece. GREAT WORK!   thumbsup

You've created a WONDERFULLY rugged, arid looking wilderness...the theme fro Lawrence of Arabia is now playing through my head. The Pillars add a touch of mystery to the piece. VERY WELL DONE!   thumbsup
