Looking for warbands

I remember GW once posting rules for alternative warbands, such as Averlanders, Ostermark, etc. Anyone know where I can find those rules? I'm getting tired of playing Reiklanders, Marienburghers and such. Thanks for any and all help.

Ostlanders and Averlanders both appear in the Mordheim Annual 2002. Not available to buy from GW any more, but sometimes appears on Ebay. Kislevites are in there as well.

The rules for them are also available here.

An Ostermark (note the difference to Ostlanders, they are two different places in the Empire) warband was in one of the Fanatic Magazines. If I remember correctly, they got rerolls on some Ld checks, and could buy a single Wardog at the start to represent a farm dog. It was never entirely clear whether they were intended to be an official warband, or if they were just tagged on as an afterthought to a scenario article.

The rules used to be on the old SG web site but that is now unavailable and it seems that they haven't moved the rules to the new GW web site.

You can find the rules for these warbands on the Mordheim Yahoo group in the FIles -> Warbands from SG Website folder:

If you like Mercs, be sure to check out the Tileans in the Lustria campaign... they have three more "merc" types, although not from the Empire.

You might like to also take a look at the Mordheim Watchtower. You can see which warbands have been done for Mordheim and where they have been released.

If you notice something is missing please let us know and we will find it.

There are a few articles in some early WD 240-245 that are not posted but I can work on that.

In full disclosure, I have to admit to sending a sizeable bribe...uh, I mean request to get in. I also had to give up my US 40K board moderator status card (lil cranky about that one still). I hope to post some pics of my terrain soon, but to be honest, I'm a wee bit intimidated by "ya'll." I have seen so much terrain that inspires me, I'm just astonished at the creativity of you folks. I have already made plans to outright steal from you guys for my own campaign and gameboards.
