I haven't posted anything for a while - so I thought I might catch up - also I haven't rolled the old dice in a long time either (at my age life seems to get filled up with some pretty pointless stuff - like work) so my son and I had a quick game. As usual he played Goblins. He is only 10 so we play pretty basic rules - that said he was pretty keen on close combat this time round which made the game a lot more fun (he used to prefer ranged attacks). Also we don't bother with how many dudes are in a warband - as he gets older we will get a bit more serious. He won after a lot of re rolls -Ive got to be nice to him he may be in a position one day to switch off my life support or put me in a bad old folks home.
After all these years when I get a chance to play I don't mind a bit of the old Mordheim.
