I have just re-started playing Mordheim after a very generous birthday gift of the original set from a friend and I was pointed in the direction of this forum for inspiration!

Welcome on board!

Everyone is from Manchester! Hurray! Do you guys game in town at all or at home/clubs?

Most of the time we play at home. The Arndale store is no longer Mordheim friendly and at Fanboy 3 there's no Mordheim crowd. Plus, none of them can't beat our terrain collections

My place (in the Rusholme/Mosside area) is generally available on Monday and Friday lunchtimes (an old tradition of ours) and nearly on any evening, although I prefer to host evening games from Tuesday to Thursday.
I'll be away until the beginning of the new year, but once I'm back I'll try to get a new campaign started. Keep an eye on this space and on Flame On.

Meanwhile, if your models are not painted, get your hands on a brush! We're not fascist about it, but it's always better if everything on the table looks cool

Absolutely right about the painting, I am going to use my Blancheitsu for these warbands. Take some real care over the assembly and painting of them. First thing I really need to do is pick up a box of Flagellants for all my "loony" bits.

I am based in Castlefield so I reckon about halfway between the pair of you?

Cool - I'm definitely a fan of Blanchitsu!

Sounds like it could be fairly easy to get to either of us! We also have friends with gaming spaces (who are part of Flame On) in Oldham, so there are quite a lot of options.

So is that 4 players all in a short distance to each other?

ive got a group of about a dozen based in stockport too, the board im building ( voodoodood.blogspot.com ) is for my mates house in stockport. but im willing to play anywhere.

6 of us got together last night to play a game of Regiment of Renown Warhammer (photos shortly!) and we talked about starting another Mordheim campaign, at Godfather Viktor's house, in the new year. I'll let you guys know the details as soon as I can.
