Question is concerning this particular item from the Annual 2002:

War Horn:
The blaring sound of a war horn can be enough to stir the hearts of any warband which it is attempting to bolster. It grants men courage and gives them the will to fight on defiantly. A war horn may be sounded once per battle at the beginning of any of the player's turn. It allows the warband to increase its Leadership by +1. The effect will last until the start of the next turn. The war horn can be used just before a warband is about to take a Rout test.

As far as I can see, there's no problem in having several Heroes with this and increase the Ld by 1 in 6 rounds. Of course it's expensive, but for my Lizardmen with Cold Blooded, I might consider this. I'll probably not use it with 6 Heroes, but it would be nice to know, if it could be used with more than one Hero pr. battle. Could also see it as useful for Orcs and their stupid Troll War Horn 387809

Yes there are no restrictions on how many Heroes may use a warhorn in a battle, only that they can only be used once each and i guess they cannot be stacked (ie using 2 horns to get a +2 Ld)
My Warband (4 horsemen of the apocalypse) had each hero with a warhorn so that when i hit rout number i could get one of my heroes to blow the horn at the start of each turn so that i could stay in the battle longer

Would it matter allowing them to stack? Would a +2 or a +3 Ld (I cannot imagine a warband containing six heroes all with warhorns) for a single round cause much imbalance? Fluff wise it makes a little bit of sense because two horns would sound louder and may grant more courage than a single, lone horn being sounded. This would be countered by being expensive and only one use per battle.

These would be amazing on my Lizardmen. Rout testing with Cold-Blooded and Ld10 is something I rarely get to do. 6 War Horns might not be that unrealistic for me to get. Especially if I got Tinci's Rage as a spell as well. Might take some time to save up that gold, but at some point, when I don't have much else to spend on, this is something I'm gonna go for.

So stacking allowed as well? Very Happy
