Manboar!

Hi all,

A while ago i had an idea of a boar mutant, or a hired sword of some sorts, that kind of model couldnt be bought so i had to venture in to the world of GS-ing, and i just want to show of the results, all comments and critics are highly appreciated:)

Ok, the thing is, he is big, really big... so who would survive fighting him? what beast of a gold purse would survive hiring him?! if i would make him again, i would try making him smaller:)

Looks great. Fantastic greenstuff work and I like the unusual harem pants. How about treating him as an Ogre hired sword?

Are the leaves on the base a commercial product and, if not, can you tell us how you did them?

About the harem pants, i wanted to have a middle-eastern feeling about him, so i looked at allot of Persian swords and armour, and yes, ogre hired sword is a great idea:)
the leaves are birch seeds, think i got the idea from the forum here,sadly i dont remember from who:(

The Boar Boy is a MAGNIFICENT & IMAGINATIVE creation...the size give credence to the fear reactions he'll cause. I love the way you've based & painted him....GREAT color choices. VERY WELL DONE!

He may also fit into a Beastmen warband as a Minotour.

I second Pervavita's notion of using Minotaur stats and rules. Seems pretty fitting. The model is fantastic btw!

Am I the only one thinking this is almost a ManBearPig (southpark )? Half man, half bear, half pig. And since there cant be 3 halves, you've chosen to leave out the bear half.

Anyhow, great sculpting work from a great idea. What's next on the sculpting list?

I will indeed post if i do:) i like the idea of different hired swords-beasts, maybe a insectoid-ish thing could be cool, with allot of claws and such:D

If you're up to it, you could post your Wondrous Non-Mordheim Works in the SciFi or Fantasy sections of our Shout It Out area. I know there are quite a lot of us, myself included, who would love to see your creations.

As an Orc player, and by extension a lover of boar-folk (that sounds wrong), I LOVE this model. Beautiful greenstuff work.
