| Thanks, Boreas. I'm glad you like it. There are lots of twisted branches/twigs around here...I go out grazing periodically. I also do them from scratch. Trees are one of the more enjoyable parts of scenery making...I'll bet you already know that. | |

| Yes it is; it's teased out while hot for the texture. I ued it as the tree roots on the Witches' Swamp Board as well. There are Folk on the DM Craft forum that make some incredible models with hot glue as the base. | |

| I've always liked the hot glue root technique for trees. Does it take paint well? I have never tried it.
Great sculpting and painting as usual!! | |

| Thanks, Chief...glad you like it. The hot glue does take paint very nicely, Aside from the occasion burn, the hot glue is a favorite method with moi. | |

| That is one of my favorites of that generation of trolls (of course I might say that about any of that generation of trolls...) But I really like what you have done with the mini. The shrooms are particularly well done | |

| Thanks, Ben & Jim! I'm glad you like him. Trolls are one of those things for which Citadel/G.W. hasn't lost their touch...the Old Ones do have more charm though. | |

| Thanks, Chief. The scales were SO nicely sculpted that a couple of dry brushes picked out all the details...I'm happy you liked the results. | |

| I NEEDED to make some more Mushrooms. I do have a bunch that are all painted up & ready for mounting: ... AND some that are ready to paint: ...but making Mushrooms is my thing & addictive, SO I started a few new ones Wednesday: ... AND some more today: ...more tomorrow...or not. ------- https://boringmordheimforum.forumieren.com/viewtopic.forum?t=8693 | |
