Hi from Britain!

Hello, bonjour.
Popping in to say hi, I've been looking around this "boring" forum for a couple of weeks and thought I'd get me an account! I'm a gardener by trade, and a wannabe Mordheim player. Having collected up to when I was 14 (I'm now 23) I have NO warband yet, I'll post in another topic about that though. Lack of money means I can only pick one, but I'm that kind of person who starts a game like Skyrim three times in an hour because, well, I like too many different things, I think. But yeah! Hi guys! I hope to bring something to the table, eventually...

I'm having a hard time finding paint schemes/themes for a Reikland warband, sorry to randomly throw this in, but not getting much of a response on my other post, anywhere I could look?

I suggest going to your local store, picking up the book 'Uniforms and heraldry of the Empire' and looking if there's anything helpful in it

Ah that's great, thanks, didn't know there was one, been years since I even owned a brush hah.
I'm just going for the rough n ready look, but possibly with some genius conversion or paint to make my models more like characters, if you get my meaning.

Nice, I've just been reading the Dark Waters campaign, are all the campaigns in the same setting? And, would a group of kislev-ish hunters fit in, fluff wise? I'm getting excited to get playing now, just thinking of getting to where people play, and when I can get my warband together.

We used to always set campaigns in Vercuso, a pirate port-town on Sartosa. But we lost our normal gaming venue and the terrain collection was divided up between us. The last two campaigns (the top two on my list of links) were not actually played using Mordheim - we used the Regiments of Renown rules (100 point skirmish rules using slightly modified Warhammer 8th edition rules).

We'll fit the fluff of the next campaign around the people who are available to play!  

Ah nice! It'll take me a while to get going, I'll have to buy stuff in stages, get the free company box set with some archer bitz, green stuff, and then a month or so down the line, get some paint, jus moved in with my girlfriend, so got to get good with money haha. How do you guys usually set these up? Any games on the weekend?

Mostly lunch-time games, with some evenings. Occasional weekend games, but these are less common.

No hurry though, there isn't a new campaign starting anytime soon. One is brewing but it's still very early stages.  

Ah nice, I'll probably only be able to make weekend games though, looking at your stuff, I'm tempted to make a pirate band of my own, maybe a maneater pirate band, yeah, one thing at a time.
