Water-skaven test piece

Hi,

some time ago I was reading a blogpost at Liber malefic that teased the available warbands of upcoming Mutiny in Marienburg supplement. One of these, stoats/skroats, caught my attention. While I found absolutely NO fluff about them, aquatic skaven are not that farfetched idea when you think about it. So I thought to make a test model.

Essentially it's just a skaven wading on a themed water base. However, if the stoats/skroats (which ones are they anyway??) prove to be an interesting warband, I migh juat build one, as an ex-WHFB skaven player I still have some skaven minis lying around.

I have no idea what it should be called, but I like what you have done with the model. As a basing style it could work for any skaven warband given a swamp or sewer theme.

Where exactly did you see the reference?

I'm not sure what Werekin has going with his Mutiny in Marienberg project, but a Band of Wharf Rats seem like they might fit in nicely. Your test model looks SPLENDID. I'll look forward to further developments.  

Just because there might be a prank involved doesn't mean, you couldn't write up a Wharf-Rats Warband yourself, if you like the mini. Or you could make werekin feel guilty enough to add a rat-list to his Mutiny-Campaign for getting your hopes up in the first place.
