| I was just wondering which warbands can recruit a Priest? At the start of the article it says any warband that includes humans can hire a priest, then later on (in certain priests) it says may be hired by elves or dwarves as well. Do those warbands also need a human in their team (such as a hired sword?) before they can get one? | |

| If I understand right it is by default any warband with humans unless stated in the indavidual priest. So Shadow Warriors or Dwarf Tresure Hunters could hire those open to them. The Miracle Workers article is not done yet as it's part of a larger project (MiM). | |

+1 Although why you would want to is another question. | |

| I was really just wondering if Maneaters with dog of war and a human hired sword could potentially hire a preist based off the opening paragraph "any warband that contains humans can hire a priest". That would be a scary sight haha | |

| If you have a gaming group that plays by the RAW (Rules As Written), then it would mean that you can hire the priest as long as you have two or more humans in your warband. However, personally I'd agree with my gaming group to rephrase it to "any warband that can hire human, dwarf, elf or halfling henchmen may hire a priest". But that's just my opinion | |

| I am a bit mystified though, since each individual priest has a 'may be hired' list and Maneaters are on none of those lists. Are you proposing that hiring a couple of HS makes Maneaters a 'human warband' or that the sentence '[A]ny warband that includes humans..." trumps the 'may be hired' sections? Perhaps this thread will prompt a bit more editing on the part of the rules' author. | |

| Yeah I was basically wondering which sentence trumps the other? Or if both apply and you're an elf/dwarf do you also need a human with you? | |

| Which Hired Sword has joined your Maneaters? Ogre warbands can only hire Halfling Hired Swords (last time I checked) because Ogres think twice before eating a halfling. | |

| They currently don't have any hired swords, they're waiting to gain the "Dog of War" skill making all hired swords available to mercenaries available to them, mainly to get a Cathayan Merchant or Pyromaniac to take advantage of the "monastery haven" they unlock at 20CP, (being honourable Celestial Protectorate Ogres). We also allowed our Halfling player to take a Preist as they are "Almost Human" | |

| Ah ok. Priests counting as Heroes means you won't see one joining an ogre warband! As for halfling warbands, they shouldn't exist in a serious campaign. | |

| Haha just checking all avenues for my players. The Halflings are actually going quite well at "Silent Threat" on account of people continuously underestimating them haha | |

| ***MiM spoiler alert***Blimey, I never imagined a band of halfling pickpockets would be pursuing the Silent Threat objective when Cianty pitched it to me! Why wait for one of your Ogre Heroes to pick up the Dog Of War skill when you could... Get a Marienburg DP to join your ogre warband! | |

| Tannery is from a forthcoming article called 'Infamous Haunts'. Underworld locations that a Hero may visit in the post battle sequence, at his peril. It offers a sinister alternative to the safer 'Marketplace' options, with bigger risks and greater rewards. | |

| Not for skinks, certainly! Why wouldn't you expect to find a bunch of halfling valets scrubbing the Tanner's filth encrusted flagstones!? Not all Leather Goods stores are found in the Tannery district. It is where you'd find a flesh house though. | |
