This looks great! What are you using for the logs? And what have you used on the walls to add texture? Normal plaster? or is it pva?

Thank you.
The timber framing, doors vand windows are all balsa wood.
The flooring is lollypop sticks.
The walls are pretty simple:
1. Undercoat everything (inc wood) in black.
2. Go around areas of the wall using black paint with a mixture of sand and flock (fake grass) mixed in.
3. Add white to the central parts/towards the edges but not too close to the wood.
4. Add washes, etc to make it dirty.
5. Dry brush.
The undercoat and then all the paint after seems to keep the texture in place without needing to use PVA glue Smile

Someone earlier asked for some photos of the set up, so here we are.
This was set up and played by my brother-in-law and his son while I was at work. I didn't actually get a chance to play (or sample my new board!). Unfortunately my brother-in-law is now back in the States so I'm not sure if there will be any games played while it's all downstairs still or not.

The scenery still needs finishing off and there are a few bits of "old" scenery (with grass bases, etc) that will either get edited or no longer used eventually. One day the miniatures may even get painted properly too... one day.

(Photos taken by my in-law)

That is a BEAUTY! I can relate to not getting to play on the table you created...I hope you remedy that situation soon. Be that as it may, VERY WELL DONE!   thumbsup

Thanks for the full table shots. It looks like your relatives had a fun table to play on at least.

Lots of different circumstances have meant that playing Mordheim has been well on the backburner. Likewise the creation of scenery. However, over the weekend it was all dusted off and we gave it a go!

I thought I'd take a few photos to put up but it also may help push me into finishing off / creating more.

The game itself did drag on a bit as we'd not played for 5-10 years, so refamiliaring ourselves with rules etc took extra time. Still, small steps! There were three of us... so I chose to ref, which means I've still not actually played the game for years! Makes me wonder why I made the scenery tongue

Next time more rubble and small bits would be placed and in hindsight should have been. It was just too appealing to get the game started (plus both players had Reiklander warbands so wanted a certain amount of open space!).

Hopefully more will come, without such a long delay. I hope everyone else is enjoying playing. I've still sneaked into the forum from time-to-time to look at other's creations!

LOOKIN' GOOD! Next time make it a three player game. Scenery that nice will guarantee further gaming. OUTSTANDING WORK!   thumbsup
