Large models and warband rating

Yes I have done a search, but can't find anything specific on this.

Trolls, Rat Ogres and similar models increase a warband's rating by 20.

Does that include the 5 for the number of members in the warband?

For example, say I have 4 heroes, 5 henchmen, a total xp of 30 and a troll.

Is my warband rating 100 ((10 x 5) + 30 + 20)? or 95 ((9 x 5) + 30 + 20)?

We had this discussion a while ago. within the last year?

The conclusion was that the Large Target only added +20.

I think the previous discussion was pretty convincing that only 20 is added. I think our group changed how we played as a result. I think if nothing else, big models generally are not to good (trolls being an exception) so it is better to not penalise them by another 5 warband rating.

My friends beastmen were underpowered for the 5 first games of our last campaign... he was keeping his money for a fully armored, armed minotaur... (he bought it then kept it behind other warriors during 2 games)... after that the minotaur became the primary target of a range attackers... but with a lamellar armor and a shield (so a 2+ armour save) its pretty hard to wound it with bows...

Its a real warmachine but very costly...

We counted the "Warband members x 5 WR" PLUS the "Large thing" 20 as we couldn't find anything that said "instead of the 5 WR" anywhere.
