That is indeed UBERCOOL! Post Apocalypse stuff has a tremendous appeal for moi also...it's part of the attraction of Mordheim.  

OOOH, well, i have to admit, gaming with my new babies on this piece of scenery would be awesome, even we play fallout first, Aergh!

I made a major rules update:

I threw out the injury roll system, bur gave the crippled limb system a mjor role now. I hope this will feel more like Fallout (of course less than Mordheim)

I also changed the rules regarding the weapon level and their potential use.
the rules does allow to use now weapons with higher levels with a penalty. I find it "unrealistic", that without gun level 1 i know how to use a 9mm pistol but nor a 10mm pistol. Now it is just more difficult and dangerouse with explosives, because you may be not so sure what this lever on a frag grenade does . So there is a risk that those explosives can explode in the hand of the user if he does not know what to do..

Additionally I adjusted the find ressources rules and the sell ressources table. I think to only give heroes which were not OOA a D6 to find ressources leads to a playing style which tries to save the heroes too much from danger. Now every heroe which was OOA and survives gives you a D2. This stands for the things the hero found before the skirmish battle.

Please also load the warband sheet, i was able to omplement a pipboy picture for the crippled limbs. Yeah nerd power!

Additional to the currently available Fallout warbands concept I am working on two more playing concepts:

1) Hardcore mode: A singleplayer mode (and coop mode): You start as grunt with an ordinary profile M4 WS3 BS3 S3 T3 I3 A1 W2 Ld 7 grunt with one level 0 weapon (worth 5bc) and additional 1d6 bc. The value is around 50 bc

2) A single player or multiplayer coop experience were you start with a core troop which can lateron evolve as a warband but for now it is a very smal group of maximum 5 fighters with one more or less experienced leader as hero and henchman. The starting value is around 200 bc.

Ok the rules are not so exciting.  ;D Maybe the pictures and battle report from a Fallout Squads battle will interest you more. But for that you need some patience.

Ja mate, I like the pictures better than the rulez. I know you're excited about this setting, but I just want to look at the cool minis and crazy scenery.

I kid about it, but rules actually do put me to sleep. I have copies of War Lord & Chaos in Carpathia that are bed time reading. In two years I've finish neither one & have only a vague concept of how they work.
Sometimes when I check the posts in the Rules Section, I picture a couple dozen Guys sprawled across their keyboards, sound asleep.

I had in between another game, one with friends and another one soli.

We had fun but a friend of mine had a great idea to fasten up the game and make heroes more important. So henchman will beOOA after they lost their last wound, heroes on the other hand will have crippled limps before being OOA.

I am currently updating the rules, and adjust the prices ( make heroes more expensive)

I sourced this job also out because my job and family cut my hobby time short and somehow I
currently does not like painting too much. It will come back, but on the good side I can show you some more minis in future.

The current minis in Wip are my local town militia. It will be more Mohave cowboy style, so they could fit to Prim. I am looking forward to see them painted

The Western Apocalypse Lads are LOOKIN' GOOD! There is some OUTSTANDING brushwork & color choices involved here...the bases have an equal potential for cool. GREAT WORK!
