Reaper is doing a switch to a new plastic material. If you can drop a $100, you get a TON of figures:
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1513061270/reaper-miniatures-bones-an-evolution-of-gaming-min

My buddy Tre is also retooling his Red Box Games figures in a new material. Gorgeous Chaos-type figs here:

Kick Starters seem to be all the rage these days. Wyrd has one also:
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1334239018/evil-baby-orphanage-0?ref=live
A minor caveat with Red Box: their minis are generally smaller than the normal 28s, such as G.W.; SO the minis might not match an existing collection. clown

Ah, always so many nice kickstarters, it's addictive! The Wyrd game seems fun, but I especially like the Reaper minis... always wanted to get myself some (and I think I even do have a couple lying around somewhere), but this deal is pretty sweet... plus, it seems like there will be some more goodies coming untill it ends... Ah, the decisions!

Jepp, now is really the time to get in on a sweet deal. Are reapers figures similar in size to GW?

Indeed, it's really a crazy amount of stuff. Also, I saw some size comparisons, and their dragons and that bone giant and the demons are pretty large for the price... I might need to get some.

Also, they added a Zombie Dragon stretch goal, that looks like one of the biggest things you can get in 28mm Very Happy Really crazy:

Here are some of the other dragons:

A couple of interesting Kickstarters KS_DragonsScale

Considering they're plastic, I guess you can make some nice conversions with riders from them.

Yeah, I'm already up for that clockwork dragon, I really hope it's gonna look cool. I think I will also go for the deep ones, that dire sea lion looks like it would be a nice pet of the pirate chick to the top left Smile

Hehe, yeah. I don't really need all of them, but as it's already at like 185 miniatures for 100$, it's quite a good value even if you just use some, and especially the two new dragons are too good to pass by Very Happy Though I guess that I first need to learn how to airbrush before I'll be able to paint that giant zombie dragon...

The reaper doomsday train filled with miniatures are coming close to the end of the line. I still haven't decided to support or not.

However here are some other kickers I stumbled upon.

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/138453512/fractured-dimensions-orc-warriors?ref=category

I don't really care for the orks at all but there are some fun monsters farther down as add ons. I rahter like the mimic Smile

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1117201778/fanticide-a-tabletop-fantasy-skirmish-game?ref=category

The developers of this one should be rather familiar to all of you, and I guess the rules are fun. I am nut sure about the models, except for the flying monkeys. Flying monkeys always rock!

Tercio Creativo has an indiegogo campaign finishing up soon. Gorgeous figures that would fit in with Mordheim. Was Lustria the setting that had Estalians?

In a german forum in visit, someone took the time to collect all tabletop-relatet crowdfunding projects in one thread. The first post will even be updated. Even if it is in german, I think everyone will know where to klick and it might be useful to some here

http://www.tabletopwelt.de/forum/showpost.php?p=4522758&postcount=1

The first list is active projects (latest first), while the second one is closed ones (green for achieved, red for failed)

Okay so I couldn't resist the reaper kickstarter, the deal got too sweet! On the upside is that I will get a ton of minis next year. The downside is that is just spent the rest of this years minis budget, and the real downside is telling the fiance about it... Wink

I am also in, but i still need to decide about some extras. The bone giant and the "fishy" monsters are mine, but i would like to catch one of the dragons.

The pathfinder dragon is huge but Ebonwraith i also like very much.

And i have to decide what i will do with all the minis i do not need.

Hmmm....

Wohoo we are almost at the necromancers!

Hmm i reduced my reaper pledge to one $.

I do not need such ahuge amount of minis. I will buy some few of them later or if the price is ok when the pledge mangaer comes ot.

I did not know that it was possible to switch out Sophie. This makes it 25$ cheaper especially if you are not interested in the mototcycle broad.

Another intersting kickstarte is the wreck age kickstarter.

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/hyacinthgames/a-tabletop-rpg-and-board-games-project-from-chicag?ref=users

it really has the fallout feelling and i love fallout.

It does not start through though and the minis are expensive as is the rule book, but i may support it and buy the pdf collection.

There's also one by a guy who's done some Reaper minis etc. (can't find his name right now). Bombshell Babes, some nice looking female miniatures (not all fantasy, though):
